01 · What happens in the sessions

Inventory, obligations and use cases, with the people who do the work

1

Data and obligations

With technology and compliance. A data inventory in four levels and a first review of what your sector requires.

More

The four levels: public, internal, confidential and sensitive. The obligations: Mexico’s data protection law, the sector’s third-party rules and what the parent company requires. The day closes with the offline demonstration.

2

Use cases

With the two process owners. A long list, scoring and three candidates.

More

Each use case is scored on value, feasibility, regulatory risk and data availability. None of the three candidates includes an automated decision about people.

What you leave with
  • Discovery report.
  • Three candidate use cases, scored.
  • Assessment proposal, at a fixed price and with a guarantee.
What comes next

The Assessment, six to ten weeks. If the final report does not identify a viable use case, the final 50% is not charged.

More

Fixed price, 50% at the start and 50% at the final report. The Discovery is credited against the Assessment.

03 · Frequently asked questions

What people ask before scheduling

Does the Discovery have a cost?

It has a low fixed price that is credited against the Assessment. For the three clients in the founding program it is free, in exchange for a publishable case and a reference.

How much time does it take?

We agree on it with your team, around their calendar. These are focused working sessions with the people who know each topic; leadership does not need to attend all of them.

Who should attend?

The head of technology or data, someone from compliance or Legal, and two process owners who know the day-to-day work. Without them, use cases come from imagination rather than operations.

Do we need to show or hand over sensitive data?

No. The Discovery works with the data inventory, not with the files themselves. The demonstration runs on a DEBIR computer with no internet, prepared for your sector and without using your company’s data.

What if no use case is worth pursuing?

The Discovery ends with three candidates or with the honest recommendation not to open the project yet. If you later hire the Assessment and its final report does not identify a viable use case, the final 50% of the Assessment is not charged.

Do we need to buy hardware first?

No. Neither the Discovery nor the Assessment requires hardware. The production server is sized in the Assessment and bought in the implementation phase, with manufacturer support in Mexico.

Is the Discovery delivered in English?

Yes. Sessions and deliverables can be in English or Spanish, which helps when the parent company reviews the project.
